It’s time! Season 3 just dropped.
As with each new season, the Warzone meta goes through a massive shake-up. New weapons, balance changes, and maps spice up the game.
Just like last season, a handful of weapons are straight-up ruling the game. But to truly harness the power of these, you'll need to know which attachments to equip.
To make sure you're not falling behind, we've compiled a list of the very best Warzone loadouts, hand picked by our professional Warzone coaching team. Without further ado, let's dive into the best Warzone loadouts for Season 3!
The Bruen Mk9 remains one of the top weapons in Warzone Season 3, offering excellent ease of use and a fast TTK at nearly any distance. It makes it the go-to choice for most players looking for a reliable long-range option. The Bruen Mk9's continued dominance is because it avoided any balance changes in Season 3, allowing it to maintain its strong performance from the previous season.
Unlike the Bruen Mk9, the SOA Subverter is challenging to control due to its significant recoil. However, players who can master this battle rifle will find it one of the most powerful weapons in Warzone Season 3. With the highest skill ceiling among all guns this season, the SOA Subverter boasts the best long-range TTK, surpassing even the formidable Bruen Mk9. Average players may succeed more with the LMG, but those seeking to optimize their loadout must invest time in mastering the SOA Subverter.
The MORS railgun sniper rifle, introduced in Warzone Season 3, has effectively replaced the XRK Stalker as the best choice for long-range engagements. Equipped with the unique HVP Anti-Material Slug ammunition, the MORS can eliminate targets with a single shot at any range, matching the lethality of the KATT-AMR while providing better mobility and handling. While the XRK Stalker may still see some use for aggressive sniping on Resurgence maps, the MORS outperforms it in most situations, establishing itself as the top sniper rifle in Warzone Season 3.
For players looking for the ultimate close-range weapon in Warzone Season 3, the HRM-9 SMG, added in Season 1 Reloaded, is the clear winner. Its incredible TTK outshines all other options in close-quarters combat. The Renetti pistol, previously a strong contender, was significantly weakened by a nerf to its conversion kit on April 10. With no other close-range weapons receiving buffs, the HRM-9 remains the sole choice for players aiming to be as competitive as possible in Warzone.
The BP50 is an accurate weapon, but it always helps to improve recoil and make it even more accurate. Using the Bruen Bastion Angled Grip underbarrel and Moat-40 Stock does just that without ruining the AR's excellent mobility and handling while providing a huge boost to recoil control.
To take advantage of the BP50's top-tier mobility, it's also recommended that you use the VLK LZR 7mW laser on your loadout. While it doesn't directly buff mobility, it does improve ADS speed and Sprint to Fire Speed, which makes playing aggressively much easier.
The Shadowstrike Suppressor muzzle is another attachment that facilitates aggressive play by preventing you from showing up on the enemy's radar when firing. It is excellent for flanking and catching the other team off guard.
A noticeable flaw of the BP50 is its low damage range values compared to other assault rifles. Using the 5.56 NATO High Grain Rounds ammunition helps mitigate this problem, and the decrease in recoil control is hardly noticeable anyway, given how accurate the BP50 is.
While the Holger 556 boasts impressive performance, its limited magazine capacity of just 40 rounds can be a significant drawback in the Trios and Quads game modes. The frequent need to reload not only hinders your ability to secure kills but can also put you at a disadvantage in crucial gunfights, potentially costing you entire matches. However, this assault rifle truly shines in Solos and Duos, where smaller magazine sizes are more viable and less likely to impact your success.
If you frequently play these smaller team game modes, the Holger 556 is worth considering. Although its TTK merely competitive rather than exceptional, the Holger 556 more than makes up for it with its superb handling and consistency. The weapon feels fantastic, providing a smooth and reliable shooting experience to help you excel in Solos and Duos.
If you're looking for a casual-friendly weapon in Warzone, the MCW assault rifle is worth considering. While it may not deal as much damage as the other options on this list, the MCW excels in one particular area: ease of use. This assault rifle is incredibly simple to handle, requiring minimal recoil control and skill to operate effectively. Point and click, and you can land your shots easily.
Remember that the MCW's TTK is relatively slow compared to other weapons, so it may not be the best choice for highly competitive play. However, if you want to enjoy a more laid-back gaming experience, the MCW is an excellent option. Its user-friendly nature makes it perfect for casual players who want to have fun without the pressure of mastering complex recoil patterns or advanced techniques.
Despite a reduction in bullet velocity in Season 2 Reloaded, the Pulemyot 762 LMG has avoided further nerfs in Season 3, allowing it to retain a competitive position in the Warzone meta. While it may no longer be considered the absolute best option, the Pulemyot 762's unique strengths, such as its excellent damage range and ease of use, keep it relevant. The JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit attachment, one of the most powerful in the game, gives this heavy LMG handling and mobility that rivals and often surpasses that of most assault rifles, ensuring its continued viability in Warzone.
The TAQ Eradicator, another LMG, has found success in the current Warzone meta primarily due to its exceptional fire rate of 857 rounds per minute (RPM), which outperforms every other LMG and viable assault rifle in the game. While other weapons have comparable fire rates, they excel in close-range combat, whereas the TAQ Eradicator shines at long-range. Although its TTK may not be the absolute best, it still outperforms most other options, making it a unique and worthy addition to the list of top weapons in Warzone Season 3.
The COR-45 pistol has always been a solid choice in Warzone, but the difficulty often hindered its true potential in maintaining the high fire rate required for optimal performance. However, introducing the XRK IP-V2 Conversion Kit, which adds a binary trigger, has made it much easier for players to reach the COR-45's maximum fire rate consistently. While it may take some practice to find the optimal firing rhythm rather than simply spamming the trigger, once mastered, the COR-45 becomes a formidable short-range weapon with a highly competitive TTK that can rival almost any other gun in Warzone.
The WSP Stinger machine pistols have earned a spot in the Warzone Season 3 meta solely based on their incredible damage output, particularly when equipped with the Akimbo rear grip. This combination allows for an unmatched close-range TTK of just 560 milliseconds, making it the fastest weapon in the game. When using the WSP Stinger, players should treat them like automatic shotguns, focusing on close-quarters engagements where they can quickly eliminate any opponent who gets too close. However, it's important to note that the WSP Stinger is exclusively a short-range weapon, as its accuracy rapidly diminishes beyond 10 meters, making it ineffective at longer distances.
