Dive heroes live in your enemy's face. Magik teleports onto squishies, Iron Fist walks them down, and Wolverine's lunge closes the distance in a heartbeat. For these heroes, precision matters less than visibility. The hitboxes are generous, and so the crosshair doesn’t matter as much. Your enemies are going to be huge on your screen anyway.
Just keep in mind that your crosshair should suit the character's full kit, not only their main attack. Magik, for example, is primarily melee but also has a projectile-based ranged attack.
