All Yordles in League of Legends
Table of Contents

Sixteen champions. Two feet tall. Yordles occupy a strange slot in LoL's lore. They are cute. They are mean. They are spirit beings who do not age or die like normal mortals. When a yordle's physical form is destroyed, they simply dissolve and respawn safely in Bandle City.

Yordles are the most underestimated race in Runeterra, and League of Legends keeps proving that point every patch. Here are all the yordles in League.

What Is a Yordle?

Yordles are a race of spirits, usually taking the form of short, furry, mammalian bipeds. Their home, Bandle City, exists as a self-contained pocket of the spirit realm, with no direct counterpart in the material realm of Runeterra. To reach mortals, yordles built gateways across Runeterra; the spots where those gateways bleed through are called bandlewoods, and they tend to warp local flora and fauna in ways that would unsettle a Zaunite chemist.

Despite standing only knee-high, they've been punching above their weight since prehistoric times, taking on giants, demons, and the occasional void creature. Their culture emphasizes curiosity, craftsmanship, and (per Teemo) passive-aggressive trap placement.

All Yordles in LoL PC

1. Amumu, the Sad Mummy

Lore

Not officially a yordle anymore, Amumu is a lonely, ancient creature bound in cursed bandages, wandering Runeterra in a hopeless search for a friend, because his very touch condemns anyone who gets close. Older lore openly called him a lost yordle, but the current League wiki no longer files him under the Yordle category.

In the game

  • Role: Jungle tank, with occasional play as a support.
  • Key abilities: Bandage Toss (Q) hooks him to a target for a stun and gap-close; Despair (W) and Tantrum give him tanky sustained damage; his passive amplifies all incoming magic damage; and his ultimate, Curse of the Sad Mummy, entangles every nearby enemy at once, one of the cleanest teamfight-starting stuns in the game.
  • Win rate: Around 50% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Low, roughly 2%.
  • Most played: A beginner-friendly jungler that skews toward lower and mid ranks; graded roughly C-to-A tier depending on the rank, and essentially absent from pro play. His whole game plan is landing a multi-person ultimate.

2. Corki, the Daring Bombardier

Lore

Corki is a yordle who fell in love with flight and never came back down, a decorated Bandle City aviator who now pilots his own gyrocopter over Valoran. Loud, brash, and endlessly proud of his flying machine.

In the game

  • Role: Bot-lane AD-caster these days, though he was historically a mid laner.
  • Key abilities: Phosphorus Bomb (Q) reveals and pokes; Valkyrie (W) is a jet dash that lays a trail of fire; Gatling Gun (E) shreds resistances; and his Special Delivery passive periodically hands him The Package, upgrading his Missile Barrage (R) rockets and granting map-wide mobility that pros love to abuse.
  • Win rate: About 50-51% bot lane  Emerald+); mid lane is far weaker at roughly 45%.
  • Pick rate: Around 2% bot lane, and near-zero (about 0.2%) in mid.
  • Most played: A niche, macro-heavy pick that rewards experts, with top Corki players averaging Grandmaster. He sits around B-to-C tier and shows up more in high elo and pro plays than in casual games.

3. Fizz, the Tidal Trickster

Lore

Fizz is an amphibious yordle who lives among the reefs off Bilgewater, mistaken by superstitious sailors for a capricious sea spirit. He is the oldest known yordle, predating even Gnar, and the only amphibious one, with gills, webbed hands, and no fur. Whether he truly counts as a yordle is a running debate, but Riot currently says yes.

In the game

  • Role: Mid-lane AP assassin.
  • Key abilities: Urchin Strike (Q) is a dash-strike; Seastone Trident (W) adds on-hit damage and a bleed; Playful / Trickster (E) is his signature hop that turns him briefly untargetable to dodge spells; and Chum the Waters (R) tosses a fish that lures a shark to knock up and burst a target.
  • Win rate: Roughly 51-54% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Popular, around 5%.
  • Most played: A solo-queue favorite with a high skill ceiling; graded S-to-A tier, and the best players push about 57% at Grandmaster.

Lore

Gnar is a prehistoric yordle who was frozen in True Ice for millennia and thawed out in the modern Freljord, carrying a piece of a lost age with him. Push him far enough and cuddly Mini Gnar gives way to Mega Gnar, a hulking rage-beast, making him the closest thing League has to a full transformation gimmick where both forms feel completely distinct.

In the game

  • Role: Top lane, as a ranged, transforming bruiser.
  • Key abilities: As Mini Gnar, he throws a returning Boomerang (Q) and hops with Hyper (E) to kite from range; his Rage bar fills in combat until he transforms into Mega Gnar, whose ultimate, GNAR!, flings enemies (ideally into a wall) for a fight-ending area stun.
  • Win rate: About 49-51% (Patch 26.14, Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Around 4%.
  • Most played: A skill- and timing-dependent pick that sits around B-to-C tier in solo queue but is historically prized in pro play for his wall-slam ult. Best players reach about 55% at Grandmaster.

5. Heimerdinger, the Revered Inventor

Lore

Heimerdinger is Piltover's most celebrated and most eccentric inventor, a yordle genius whose turrets, grenades, and rockets helped shape hextech itself. Arcane fans know him as the mentor who first nurtured a young Ekko's tinkering.

In the game

  • Role: Mid-lane mage, and also played top or support.
  • Key abilities: H-28G Evolution Turret (Q) plants auto-firing turrets that anchor his zone; Hextech Micro-Rockets (W) poke; his grenade (E) is an area stun; and his ultimate, UPGRADE!!!, empowers the next ability into a super-turret, a rocket swarm, or a much bigger grenade.
  • Win rate: Around 50-53% mid (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Very low, roughly 0.3% mid and about 1% top.
  • Most played: A specialist and one-trick lane bully; strong by win rate but rarely picked, and mostly absent from pro play because he is so lane-dependent.

6. Kennen, the Heart of the Tempest

Lore

Kennen is a Shurima-born yordle ninja and the only yordle in Ionia's Kinkou Order, serving alongside Shen and Akali as its Heart of the Tempest. Small, fast, crackling with storm energy, darting through fights, and leaving enemies stunned.

In the game

  • Role: Top lane (AP) and occasionally mid.
  • Key abilities: Thundering Shuriken (Q) pokes at range; his Mark of the Storm passive and Electrical Surge (W) stack stuns onto targets; Lightning Rush (E) turns him into a mobile bolt of energy; and his ultimate, Slicing Maelstrom, rains lightning to chain-stun whole teams.
  • Win rate: About 50-51% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Niche, around 1.3%.
  • Most played: A teamfight and dive specialist and a priority ban in coordinated draft; graded B-to-C tier in solo queue, with the best players near 53% at Grandmaster. Used to be a popular pro pick, but nerfed recently.

7. Kled, the Cantankerous Cavalier

Lore

Kled is a rage-fueled Noxian yordle who refuses to die and, mostly, refuses to dismount. He rides a cowardly lizard-steed named Skaarl; when Skaarl bolts, Kled fights on out of pure spite until he can remount.

In the game

  • Role: Top lane, as a dueling bruiser.
  • Key abilities: Mounted, Bear Trap on a Rope (Q) hooks and yanks a target; Violent Tendencies (W) is an attack-speed burst; Jousting (E) dashes through enemies; and his ultimate, Chaaaaaaaarge!!!, rallies Skaarl for a map-wide engage. Losing Skaarl swaps his kit into a weaker dismounted state until he earns his mount back.
  • Win rate: Roughly 50-53% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Specialist territory, around 1.6%.
  • Most played: A punishing anti-dive and skirmish pick graded anywhere from B to S tier, and a solid climber; best players reach about 56% at Grandmaster.

8. Lulu, the Fae Sorceress

Lore

Lulu is a yordle mage who wandered into the spirit realm of the fae and came back changed, seeing the world as a whimsical dream and reshaping it to match. Her constant companion is Pix, a faerie only she fully understands. She is playful, unpredictable, and quietly one of the most protective champions alive.

In the game

  • Role: Enchanter support.
  • Key abilities: Glitterlance (Q) slows; Whimsy (W) either buffs an ally's speed and haste or polymorphs an enemy into a harmless critter; Help, Pix! (E) shields an ally or adds poke; and her ultimate, Wild Growth, enlarges an ally, knocks up nearby enemies, and grants a wall of bonus health.
  • Win rate: About 49-51% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Very high, around 8%.
  • Most played: A staple enchanter across every rank and a regular in Worlds priority picks; graded A-to-S tier and the platonic ideal of a peel support.

9. Norra, the Portal Mistress

Lore

Norra is a whimsical yordle enchantress from Bandle City and the long-lost master of Yuumi, which is exactly why the book-hopping cat has been searching Runeterra all this time. She is Wild Rift's first champion built exclusively for that game.

In the game

  • Availability: Wild Rift and Teamfight Tactics only. Norra is NOT playable on League of Legends PC, and Riot has said it currently has no plans to bring her over.
  • Role: Mid-lane artillery mage in Wild Rift, who also flexes into support.
  • Key abilities: Memory Surge (Q) is a chargeable, long-range bolt in the vein of Xerath; Journey to Nowhere (W) banishes enemies to a pocket dimension where they cannot attack; Thread of Homecoming (E) fires interweaving portals that slow and enlarge targets; and her ultimate, Portalpalooza!, opens a large circle she swipes portals across for repeated long-range blasts. Her passive, Beloved Trinkets, scatters vision-granting traps that punish enemies who touch them.
  • Win rate: Around 48% after recent nerfs.
  • Pick rate: Roughly 2%, paired with a high ban rate near 17%.
  • Most played: A long-range poke carry that players ban out of frustration; rated around A-tier in Wild Rift mid and currently trending down after nerfs. Her numbers are volatile since she is a very new champion.

10. Poppy, the Keeper of the Hammer

Lore

Poppy is a stout, no-nonsense yordle who carries the legendary Hammer of Orlon, a weapon heavier than she is, while searching for the fabled Hero of Demacia, whom she believes is destined to wield it. Humble to a fault, she would rather quietly do the job herself than admit she might be the hero all along.

In the game

  • Role: Top, jungle, and support, as a durable disruptor.
  • Key abilities: Hammer Shock (Q) slams the ground; Steadfast Presence (W) grants resistances and blocks enemy dashes; Heroic Charge (E) knocks a target into a wall for a long stun; and her ultimate, Keeper's Verdict, can be tapped for a knock-up or charged to hurl a priority threat clean out of the fight.
  • Win rate: High, around 53-55% (Emerald+) across top, jungle, and support.
  • Pick rate: Around 2-3%.
  • Most played: Low mechanical complexity, high impact, and one of the more reliable picks in both solo queue and pro play; graded A-to-S tier and especially strong as a jungler, support, and top laner right now. Best players reach about 56% at Grandmaster.

11. Rumble, the Mechanized Menace

Lore

Rumble is a scrappy yordle mechanic from Bandle City who built his own battle-mech out of junkyard scraps and raw resentment at being underestimated. Hot-tempered and fiercely inventive, he pilots it straight into fights that a creature his size has no business starting.

In the game

  • Role: Top lane, as an AP bruiser.
  • Key abilities: Everything keys off his Heat gauge and a Danger Zone that empowers his spells: Flamespitter (Q) is a cone flamethrower; Scrap Shield (W) shields and speeds him up; Electro Harpoon (E) slows; and his ultimate, The Equalizer, lays a line of lava across the battlefield. Managing Heat without overheating is what separates good Rumbles from great ones.
  • Win rate: About 48-50% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Very low, roughly 0.6-1.5%.
  • Most played: A low-pick, high-ceiling pick that grades D-to-B tier in solo queue but is a long-standing pro-play favorite for his ultimate. Best players reach about 56% at Grandmaster.

12. Teemo, the Swift Scout

Lore

Teemo is the beaming, relentlessly cheerful face of yordle-kind and the bane of Bandle City's enemies, a scout who follows his own strict code with unsettling dedication. He has been on the Rift since the 2009 launch and remains the most memed, most hated, and most beloved (by Teemo mains) champion.

In the game

  • Role: Top lane (AP skirmisher) and also AP jungle.
  • Key abilities: Blinding Dart (Q) blinds a target to shut down auto-attackers; Move Quick (W) grants speed; Toxic Shot poisons on every hit; his Guerrilla Warfare passive grants camouflage when he holds still; and his ultimate, Noxious Trap, seeds the map with invisible poison mushrooms.
  • Win rate: Around 51-53% (Patch 26.14, Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Popular, around 4%.
  • Most played: An iconic, accessible lane bully that is strong across the ranked ladder; graded S-to-A tier. Not really picked in pro play.

13. Tristana, the Yordle Gunner

Lore

Tristana is a yordle who grew up on tales of legendary marksmen and left Bandle City to become one herself, wielding an oversized cannon nearly as big as she is. Bright, brave, and hungry for adventure, she has been a face of the ADC role since the game's earliest days.

In the game

  • Role: ADC (bot-lane marksman).
  • Key abilities: Her Draw a Bead passive grows her attack range as she levels; Rocket Jump (W) leaps in or out and resets on takedowns; Explosive Charge (E) stacks up to a burst; and her ultimate, Buster Shot, blasts a target away as an escape, a peel, or a wall-combo setup.
  • Win rate: About 50-53% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: High, around 6.5%.
  • Most played: Scales as a long-range, agile, aggressive hypercarry; graded S-to-A tier, with the best players near 57% at Grandmaster. Sometimes picked in pro play as ADC, and even Top lane a few times in MSI and EWC 2026.

14. Veigar, the Tiny Master of Evil

Lore

Veigar is a yordle who decided that ordinary sorcery was not sinister enough and committed fully to being a diminutive dark lord. Once a subordinate of Mordekaiser, he is the smallest yordle of all, yet wields limitless, ever-growing magic.

In the game

  • Role: Mid-lane control mage, occasionally played as a bot-lane APC.
  • Key abilities: Baleful Strike (Q) permanently stacks his ability power with every kill, giving him infinite scaling; Dark Matter (W) drops heavy delayed damage; Event Horizon (E) is the cleanest cage-stun in the game; and his ultimate, Primordial Burst, executes low-health targets for enormous damage.
  • Win rate: Roughly 51-53% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Around 3%.
  • Most played: A scaling stun-mage that snowballs into one-shot territory; graded S-tier mid, with the best players near 57% at Grandmaster.

15. Vex, the Gloomy Mage

Lore

Vex is a melancholic goth yordle who rejects everything sunny about her kind. She loathes enthusiasm, loud colors, and cheer, accompanied only by her sentient shadow, which is literally named Shadow. She is the newest yordle champ and the only female yordle released in the decade.

In the game

  • Role: Mid-lane burst mage.
  • Key abilities: Her Doom 'n Gloom passive punishes mobility, marking champions who dash near her and then feared for a follow-up execute; Mistral Bolt (Q) is a widening missile; Personal Space (W) shields and bursts; Looming Darkness (E) fears; and her ultimate, Shadow Surge, hunts a target and resets on kills.
  • Win rate: About 51-53% (Emerald+).
  • Pick rate: Around 3%.
  • Most played: An anti-mobility burst mage that makes Yasuo and Talon games miserable; graded A-tier and a healthy solo-queue pick, with the best players near 58% at Master.

16. Ziggs, the Hexplosives Expert

Lore

Ziggs is a manic yordle inventor obsessed with one thing: bigger explosions. He fled Piltover's academic circles to blow things up on his own terms, and now every part of his kit is a bomb of some kind. And he is never happier than when a tower is coming down.

In the game

  • Role: Bot-lane artillery mage, and also mid.
  • Key abilities: Bouncing Bomb (Q) is his rapid long-range poke; Satchel Charge (W) knocks enemies (or himself) around and demolishes weakened towers; Hexplosive Minefield (E) zones an area; his Short Fuse passive adds bonus bomb damage to structures; and his ultimate, Mega Inferno Bomb, nukes a huge zone from across the map.
  • Win rate: Around 51-53% bot lane (Emerald+); mid is weaker at roughly 50%.
  • Pick rate: About 6.6% bot lane, and only around 0.7% mid.
  • Most played: A premier siege and poke pick that shreds towers and zones teamfights; graded A-to-S tier in the bot lane and a pick-or-ban pro pick whenever siege compositions are strong.
