I've taken some really insightful coaching sessions with Crazy where he analyzed my replays and went over the mistakes I was making. He explains gamesense very well by taking situations I struggle with, and recreating them in freeplay or even in a match. This helped me a lot as I learned certain tricks you usually don't hear much in youtube tutorials. Highly recommend Crazy if you're looking to climb ranks and improve your gamesense! Don't go to this guy for air-play mechanics. He will not teach or encourage lean back resets, double taps, spinning, etc... However, his game sense is great, thus why he is GC 3. Beware, unlike most of the coaches here, he doesn't show any RLCS/SSL insider knowledge, thus his credibility is limited to his rank: gc3. For example, if this was chess, in virtually every offensive situation he knows a "good"move, but don't expect to always get the "best" or "brilliant" move. On defense he is pretty much picture perfect, but he is still not a pro. Pro mentality? No. Pro mechanics? no. Pro coaching? Yes. I know I'm Champ 1, so according to you and the internet so I can't know if he's pro-level, so if you don't believe me, Little Johnny, book with him and find out. Anyways, He will help you stop giving away free goals. He helps you create opportunities. However, If you want to invent a new mechanic, he will not help you. If you want to learn the best free play drills, he will not help you. If you are looking for a mental coach, he won't help you. If you are looking for a boost in creativity and improvisation, he won't help you, but he will help you manage your boost. This guy is direct, efficient, and optimized. He's not a youtube clown or a tricky, or overly unpredictable guy. He is patient, and wants the best for you. He has a sharp mind, a student of the game, a replay analyzer, a Plat to GC 1 in only 6 seasons (according to RL tracker), I strongly believe this man is a professional student. that alone earns a star from me. He has also clearly shown that he applies everything he teaches, 3000 hours to be exact. That's another star. Again, if you want to train mechanics or learn how to train mechanics, do not go to this man. He is a traditional EU-mindset player. Passing, letting your teammate score, crazy saves, acts friendly in chat then scores a ruthless goal. I think every player should go to a coach like CRAZYborn-chortl BEFORE they see a RLCS/SSL coach, because he grounds you in reality, and he repeats the truth so often that you can't help but internalize what he tells you. If you lack discipline, go to this guy first. Only if you are a reincarnation of ApparentlyJack, you can skip chortl and book with one of the many SSL's in this site. Also if you want to spend less, go to chortl. But essentially, always see Chortl first. He will isolate and make clear what is strictly necessary to rank up, and strip away all of the fluff or nonsense. Game sense is apparently the best way to play Rocket League... said a man named Jack. This coach is a jack of one trade, game sense. Mechanics? no. Mental Warfare? No. Just listen and I guarantee you will rank up. This man treats the game like a discipline simulator, because that's the way the game is meant to be played.
